Specialty Service Providers

Services for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders:

Massachusetts Certified Early Intervention providers contract directly with DPH approved agencies to provide services to children with a diagnosis of "Autism Spectrum Disorder." Children must be enrolled in certified Early Intervention programs and have a confirmed diagnosis on the autism spectrum in order to be eligible for these services. The Early Intervention program in which the family is enrolled makes the referral for these services.

Specialty Services for Infants/Toddlers with Hearing Loss

Children who have hearing loss may benefit from the assistance of specialty providers who have special skills and knowledge in this area. An Early Intervention program may contract with appropriate low incidence specialists who have Provisional Certification as Early Intervention Specialists and may be employed by agencies or in private practice. Individuals not affiliated with agencies are not included here.
