New Program Director Mentorship
The Massachusetts Early Intervention Training Center Program Director Mentorship Program offers new Early Intervention Program Directors the opportunity for a supportive professional relationship where knowledge, skills and experience are shared. Each mentorship is individualized according to the specific needs of the Mentee.
Mentorship Details
Mentors and Mentees meet for 10 hours over six months, with at least 8 hours being face to face, working on goals that they create together. The goals can focus on any aspect of program management in early intervention, and are directly linked to Massachusetts’ Early Intervention Operational Standards and Core Values.
The Mentor
The Mentor is a current or former Massachusetts Early Intervention Program Director with expertise in managing a successful early intervention program. As a Mentor, the Program Director shares his or her wisdom and assists the Mentee with whatever challenges they may face in their new role. Mentors will receive a stipend of $50 per hour for their work with a Mentee.
