CEED is offering a variety of online courses that are self-paced with online discussion and participation guided by instructors. - Massachusetts Children’s Trust Fund will present a conference on Understanding, Responding and Coping with Infant Crying: From Prevention to Intervention. The all-day training is titled Babies Cry: Have a Plan, and it will take place in Westborough, MA. Registration deadline is May 5, 2008.

- Dr. Robin McWilliam will present “The Routines-Based Interview (RBI) Certification Institute” at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. It will include demonstrations, practice, feedback, and written materials. The purpose of the training is to have a trained group of people who can also train others to conduct the RBI which has been shown to improve the functionality of outcomes on the IFSP as well as family satisfaction with the IFSP process.

- Early Childhood Special Education Leadership Post-Doctoral Fellowship Announcement
- The School of Education and Human Development and the Center for Evidence-Based Practice in Early Learning at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center (UCDHSC) announce a competitive early intervention (EI)/early childhood special education leadership (ECSEL) post-doctoral fellowship program beginning August 15, 2008. The program (Project ECSEL) is supported by a grant from the US Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP). The fellowship program is designed to provide knowledge and experiences to post-doctoral fellows that result in the competence to provide state and national leadership needed to address pressing policy and systems issues in EI/ECSE. Up to four post-doctoral fellows will be selected for a 12 month appointment.
